According to the showrunners, this couple isn’t going anywhere! “For me, we still have the occasional fan reaction of ‘I don’t like Harley and Ivy together. I think what I love the most about Harley Quinn is seeing the romantic relationship between her and Poison Ivy. To us, the show lives in what are the mundane moments in between all those things you see in the movies, right? But you’ve got to drive to that battle or you have to get some food afterward. He and I always said that we’re not going to be able to do superhero stuff, like big battles and fights and shit, better than what’s being done. Showrunners Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, who are also behind the way-less-vulgar ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary, talked all about it to The A.V. I wasn’t sure that the series would return, but we are finally on the cusp of the season 3 premiere. It’s the best animated show out there, and it’s finally coming back after two years!
